It’s been a successful year for ECLISSE. We’ve seen several changes throughout 2023 with new employees joining, renewed sponsorship deals and updated products launched. We take a look back at one of our most exciting and most successful years.

Sponsorships

It was a winning year for the Long Bennington Under 18s Girls’ football team who were crowned League Champions of the Premier Division of the Nottinghamshire Girls’ and Ladies’ League for the 2022/2023 season in emphatic fashion by winning every game. Despite The team being newly formed at the beginning of the season being a combination of players from Long Bennington and Bottesford teams it turned out to be a winning combination. And they did it all wearing kit sponsored by ECLISSE. We are so proud to have been part of such an incredible season. ECLISSE is pleased to be continuing to sponsor the team into 2024 and we hope that the team will have another fantastic season.

Training opportunities

In 2023 we also officially opened our new training facility at our headquarters in Grantham.

Our training sessions cover frame assembly and installation allowing delegates to see and understand how it all works. It’s even possible to show them how the system is fitted into the studwork. The course all covers a number of frequently asked questions.

ECLISSE is delighted to be able to offer installers the chance to come and learn about our systems, and to assemble and install them. Getting to see the pocket doors up close and how they work in real life gives us an opportunity to educate installers and let them see for themselves that pocket doors really are a great option. We look forward to welcoming many installers to our training facility throughout 2024.

Showroom

In 2023 we officially opened our fully functional showroom in Grantham to offer architects, specifiers, housebuilders and homeowners the opportunity to see our products in action, in a real life. Our product expert is available to guide visitors around the showroom, to explain how each system is designed and how they work in order to help you to choose the best system for your needs.

All of the displays have an exposed backing to enable our product expert to show you the internal workings and structural mechanics of each system and explain how they work. We also have displays set up to show you many of our accessories such as the BIAS (Soft-Close with Built-In Anti-Slam) system, the Touch Latch, or self-closing systems. We believe that offering one-to-one access to our product expert in such a setting will allow you to get a real feel for how they work and to assess if they are suitable for your needs.

New CPD courses launched

We also launched two new Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses, the first of which is a general course on the design of, and uses for, pocket doors whilst the second focusses on inclusive design and explores how pocket door systems can be used for enhanced accessibility to create greater accessibility for everyone regardless of age, gender, disability or circumstance.

Each course is online and runs for around 45-60 minutes, including time for questions, presented by our in-house experts via video link live from our showroom in Grantham, Lincolnshire. Courses offer delegates the chance to learn more about these subjects through the use of case studies and explanations of how the products perform in real-life situations.

Updated BIAS and BIAS DS accessories

ECLISSE is pleased to announce the launch of the newly improved BIAS (Built In Anti Slam) and BIAS DS (Built In Anti Slam - Double Sided) accessories. The ECLISSE BIAS accessories are true anti-slam devices that decelerate the motion of the door as it is returned to the closed position to provide soft-closing, while the BIAS DS also provides soft-opening. These updated versions of the BIAS and BIAS DS now feature an automatic reset which means that if for any reason the mechanism should disengage that it will no longer be necessary to remove the accessory from the track, as the device will now automatically reset itself. We believe that these newly improved products demonstrate ECLISSE’s commitment to making to our products as reliable and robust as possible to ensure the best experience for our customers.

Additions to our employee benefits package

ECLISSE is committed to supporting the health and well-being of its employees. This covers a range of benefits including a generous holiday allowance and a bonus scheme. The latest perk for our employees is membership at Choices Health and Fitness Club in Grantham which gives employees access to full use of the gym, up to 50 fitness classes and use of the 23m long heated indoor swimming pool, plus sauna and steam room. Another benefit added in 2023 was access to Duolingo the language learning app. Our employees agree that we’ve created a useful and meaningful package of benefits and that this makes ECLISSE an even better employer and company to work for.
