The information here is for reference for those customers who purchased our previous fire-rated pocket door systems up to the end of May 2023,  that was covered by field of application report PAR/10057/01 Revision C.

If building control sign off is required and has not yet been obtained, customers should satisfy themselves that their building control inspector will accept this field of application report, with a proof of purchase date and this Letter of Comfort which extends the date for installation and sign off, where required, to the end of November 2023. 

The independently fire-tested and certified Eclisse Pocket Door System - Fire-Rated Single (FD 30)

This sliding pocket door system has been designed specifically for your own 30 minute fire rated doors (FD30 ). It includes all the benefits of the standard Eclisse Classic Pocket Door System plus a specially designed jamb/architrave kit made from a high-density slow burning hardwood.

• Compatible and certified for use with the BIAS Soft-Close Anti-Slam

• Now includes a choice of white or brown intumescent seals 

Refer to the report below for information on which non-essential hardware (i.e. push plates, kick plates, surface mounted pull handles, recessed pull handles) has been approved for use.

• PLEASE NOTE INBUILT TOLERANCE - If setting out your studwork before delivery of your frame please note there is approximately an 8mm tolerance built into the height of these pocket door systems which you will need to take into account. Packers may be required to accommodate for this gap if you are unable to adjust the studwork above the system. Note: Frame should be installed at finished floor level.

ACCESSORIES

• A fully approved  self-closing mechanism is available. Please check first with your Building Inspector prior to ordering to determine whether or not your particular application will require a self-closer. 
• BIAS Soft-Close with Anti-Slam (optional)
• This system can be used with our flush pull handles (see door furniture) and refer to the IFC-Field of Application Report for information on installation.
