Eclisse - Sliding Door System

Eclisse has released a new range of 30 minute Fire-rated units for use with BS FD30 doors. It represents a step forward in the ever widening range of products under the Eclisse brand. 

This new approved system was the result of dedicated research effort by the Eclisse R&D group combining the advantages of the standard sliding door system technology with the building control safety requirements.
The new version of the Eclisse FD30 system was tested by the Cambridge Fire Research facility (a UKAS approved testing laboratory) to BS EN 1634-1:2008 and passed with flying colours.

Not only did Eclisse obtain full 30 minute certification, but it also added wider and higher openings to the possible combinations whilst maintaining the traditional advantages of the Eclisse system.

Available off the shelf for standard door sizes, the framework is made of galvanized steel and the jambs/architraves are manufactured from a special high-density wood.

Also tested and approved was the new Eclisse adjustable self closing mechanism for their systems.
