Listed Castle conversion to Luxury Spa uses Eclisse glass doors for their en-suites

A great way to make bright and spaceous en-suites in a prestigious property in the Pembrokeshire National Park

In the Pembrokeshire National Park an 18th century castellated property was converted to a prestigious hotel/residence and spa featuring beautiful Eclisse glass sliding doors into its bedroom suites.
Geoffrey and Georgina Philipps the owners of “Slebech Park” wanted to transform it into a luxurious business and leisure development.
Aros Architects, in charge for the project, explained “the client's aim was to provide a relaxed working, study or leisure environment with dedicated facilities and a high level of service on the shores of the Eastern Cleddau”.

The sensitive conversion was constructed in phases and in close association with the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority Development Control Officers. It consisted in creating leisure facilities and a dedicated meeting venue with superior presentation facilities along with quality accommodation.
It’s in this detailed environment that some Eclisse glass sliding doors were installed in order to get the maximum space in the en-suites without encroaching into the bedrooms. The answer was Eclisse sliding glass pocket doors which give extra useful living space but they also allow much more light to enter the en-suite giving a much improved, light and airy ambience.

With the exception of the ruins of the 12th century church in the grounds, the current 26-bedroom buildings date from the mid 18th century and are some of the few remaining buildings of that era left in Wales. The park dates back to the 12th Century when it was home to the Knights Order of St John and has been associated with the Philipps' family for more than 200 years.
