ECLISSE Distributor of the Month: Em-B Solutions Ltd

    The vision of Em-B Solutions Ltd is to be a UK leader in the provision of architectural hardware, access solutions, door solutions and washroom solutions. Their product offering is vast, ranging from key cutting to our very own ECLISSE products. Plus with widely disbursed offices around the UK, Em-B are able to reach clients easily and efficiently. Em-B and ECLISSE started their partnership in 2004 and from then business has gone from strength to strength. 

    We spoke to David Robinson at Em-B to ask him some questions on how this partnership began...

    • How and when did ECLISSE and Em-B start working together?

      A chance visit from Padraic Healey (ECLISSE UK Managing Director) to our Leeds trade counter in 2004 to get a key cut started the working relationship between Em-B and ECLISSE. After visiting our premises Padraic realised we were more than just a locksmith and arranged a meeting with our directors and our working relationship grew from there.
    • Which ECLISSE products did you sell initially and how has that range expanded?

      We originally sold the ECLISSE Classic Single and Double Pocket Door pocket door kits. As our relationship and confidence progressed, we extended the product range to include the frameless Syntesis Flush system, glass product range and bespoke sized kits.
    • How do you go about training your staff on new ECLISSE products?

      Regarding training, we do a combination of internal and external training. In house, training is provided by ECLISSE and our own staff training team. More recently we have made use of ECLISSE's training facility at their London showroom, at the Business Design Centre. With full sized displays of the ECLISSE product the showroom provides a great opportunity to really understand all the products.
    • When did you first launch ECLISSE products on your website?

      We launched our online shop on the 6th January 2011; we received our first order on the 9th of January 2011. The site continued to grow from this point and now provides a healthy revenue stream for the business.
    • I see that you have incorporated a live chat within your website. How would you say this benefits the customers?

      Live chat was launched in early 2018; we find the chat facility offers reassurance to the customer, in particular during the checkout process and when tracking orders and lead times.
    • Have you got any other developments that you would like to tell us about?

    We are hoping to add additional ECLISSE systems to our showroom in the future. 

    • Can you tell us why your customers like ECLISSE?

    • We believe Eclisse have established themselves as a leading brand for pocket doors systems. Customers desire and trust their products. In addition to this, Eclisse have also simplified the purchasing process by offering an ‘off the shelf’ solution making their products quick and easy to buy.
